Editorial Policy
ReserveOne publishes this policy to explain how topics are selected, researched, reviewed, corrected, and kept independent from advertising relationships.
ReserveOne is an independent educational publication covering major purchases, ownership costs, insurance, financing, and long-term asset planning. Advertising does not determine editorial conclusions.
Editorial independence
Advertising, payment providers, manufacturers, brokers, lenders, insurers, and service providers do not receive control over editorial conclusions, calculator formulas, rankings, or whether a topic is covered. Sponsored material, if introduced, must be clearly labeled.
Evidence and review
Official records and primary documentation are preferred for regulated facts. Professional reports, executed contracts, current quotes, and independent market evidence are distinguished from estimates, seller statements, and preliminary estimates. Material revisions receive a new review date; routine formatting changes do not.
Corrections and conflicts
Potential errors can be submitted through the contact page. Significant factual corrections are reviewed, corrected promptly when substantiated, and documented. Contributors must disclose material conflicts that could reasonably affect coverage.
